From the time he was a kid growing up on a farm in western Minnesota, Josh has always loved projects and building things with his hands. A licensed and insured General Contractor, Josh has over five years of professional experience serving clients as a handyman, carpenter, and installer, working for one of the leading home construction companies in the Twin Cities area before launching Aakre Home Services.

Josh is a farm boy through and through, and brings his “dawn til’ dusk” work ethic to every client he serves. A true jack of all trades, he loves solving problems and taking on new projects for his clients. Passionate about transforming houses into homes, Josh will treat your project with the utmost care and quality. When he’s not serving his clients, Josh can be found spending time with his wife and their two boys (and two golden retrievers) around the White Bear Lake area.
